Is a flight dangerous for people with glaucoma?

A general ban on flying does not exist for people with glaucoma, even if some ophthalmological information seems to suggest this. Since normally normal pressure conditions prevail in the pressurized cabins of the passenger aircraft, according to the current state of knowledge, dangerous pressure problems can not be expected there.
